For knitting, press one:

Vintage Velvet is ongoing but will have to be felted in a laundromat to make sure it won’t clog up my shiny new washing machine. The scarf has eaten two of the five balls of yarn so far. I found the dental floss to put a lifeline in Juno Regina but haven’t had the nerve to start the second repeat of chart #2.

For other fibre arts, such as spinning and needle felting, press two:

Haven’t spun lately, despite a bulging fibre box of interesting stuff to spin. Needle-felted a pin cushion, or a tribble depending on your perspective, with merino and unknown white wool. Hubby wants me to put eyes on it, and legs.

For writing, press three:

Finished a story for the post-NaNo group, and I like it. It’s a first person viewpoint, which I’ve never done before. It’s also very sad. Need to come up with an idea for a second story in our shared world. Deadlines motivate me to get stuff done. Probably why NaNoWriMo works for me.

For all other categories, including personal, science, and news, press four:

Not really paying attention right now, more than a little distracted. Orange belt test next Monday at Tracy’s Karate.

Thank you for your visit. Your call is important to us. Please continue to hold.
