Almost, but not quite

Finished half of the Flutter scarf at Saturday morning knitting with Karen in Borders cafe, picked up the stitches for the second half in a quiet room at home and had a horrible time re-starting the pattern. I need to rip it out several rows, a pattern and a half, and sort out a glitch with a misplaced YO and k2tog. So close…

2009-10 Flutter Scarf

It looks lovely though, and I think I will wear this when it’s done.

Edited to add:

Oct 20th, fixed the glitch. One repeat down, 49 to go…

  1. lovely. I at times enjoyed and hated knitting the pattern. It was nice that I had it memorized quickly but I noticed if I had time to do more than 4 sets of the pattern repeat I got bored. Even so I plan on knitting one for myself some day. (the one I knit was gifted).

Another scarf I have been thinking of knitting again is Reclamation by Stefanie Japel. That one is all about the yarn – and now that is it cold where I am wearing mine. I am not one for accessory dressing but is just big enough from a 50g fingering/sport skein to add warmth.
