Another November, another novel complete. This was my sixth November novel, and even though it’s still not done yet, it’s my favourite. I’m going to try and write a thousand words a day until it’s done, which should be about a week. Then comes the printout, basic copy-editing, first edit, and the loveliness of a hard copy.
Our TGIO (Thank God It’s Over) party is on December 5th. Injun Joe will do the happy dance because as a region we tripled our donations from last year. Because we donated over $2000, the happy dance will be videoed and put on YouTube!
I’m still a bit brain fried. Finished Heather’s Christmas socks, going to my first karate lesson as a purple belt this afternoon (wearing the belt), still loving my story.
One final NaNoWriMo landscape photo:
This was taken off the deck around 6:30am on November 21st.
Congratulations on being a Nano Winner!!
This was my first year, and I validated my win Saturday evening, though I haven’t quite finished the story. I don’t think I’ll let anyone read more than a few snippits here and there, but am really thankful for the experience!
When I saw ‘QuantumTea’, I just had to check out your blog – I am a tea snob, myself! Then saw England, knitting, AND the Vineyard – well, I figured I really should introduce myself. Although I was born in STL, I lived in Europe for about 17 years – last stop was London, returning here in 2005.
Now one of my favorite spots to hang out is the London Tea Room on Washington Avenue (downtown St Louis) – owned and operated by an English family.
I won’t be able to make it Saturday to the TGIO get together, but perhaps we’ll run into each other at some other time!
