Another haiku

I haven't posted in a couple of days because I was freaked out how far and wide the Cardinal Sins of Blogging list went.  Someone in the Netherlands linked to it, a couple of places whose languages I can't identify, and a pile of other linkers.  Call it performance anxiety.  So for today, I'll post one more haiku:
