Birthday

There are few things better than a day off work with nothing planned, and one of them is a birthday off work with nothing planned except dinner with Hubby.  He got my engagement ring repaired as a birthday gift.  I love my ring.  It's a simple diamond solitaire but the prongs were very worn after fifteen years of wear and I hadn't worn it for fear of losing the diamond.  If I take it off at night like you're supposed to, the repair will last longer.  Welcome back old friend, I missed you.

He also gave me a Creme Brulee blow torch.  Creme Brulee is my favourite dessert and I now have the tool to make it.  And also to incinerate marshmallows, start a fire with wet wood, and possibly burn the house down.
