FO: Bogeyman Socks

Finished the Fungus The Bogeyman socks:

Pattern: 12 stitch easy toe, offset mirrored panels of Fan lace from Sensational Knitted socks, Sherman heel, rolled top.

Yarn: Lovesticks 100% BFL in Little Green Men

Needles: US0 Addi turbo (magic loop)

Duration: 29 May to 25 July 2009

I'd been thinking these took a long time!  There was a Tour de Fleece in the middle, ongoing  housing trauma, a US Citizenship ceremony, and weekend trips to Nashville and Chicago.  It's been a busy couple of months.

I wish the lace pattern stood out more when they're on my feet.  The variegated colouring takes some of the blame, but I won't be using this lace panel again.  The yarn is lovely, soft and silky but sturdy, colours are vibrant and there's a good chunk leftover.  It bodes well for the semi-solid skein I got from Lovesticks a while back.

Taking a break from sock knitting for a while to work on some of my handspun yarn.  Spinning yarn to knit is like giving yourself a really cool gift.
