FO: Boudica socks
Did the last few rows today. Lunchtime knitting is replaced with lunchtime writing in November and I really wanted these done before NaNoWriMo starts. The fabric is very dense, and I love how the horizontal braids turned out.
Yarn: Wooly Wonka superwash BFL sock yarn
Pattern: MimKnits Boudica Socks
Duration: 13th September to 31st October
The yarn is 3 ply and tightly spun, though a few times I did snag just one ply. There is a little variation in the thickness but not enough to notice when knitted up. The colour is fantastic, sea blue with a shot of gold here and there. I think this will be a hard-wearing pair of socks, they were knitted on size 0 needles.
I will start the Comfort Shawl once I'm done with my novel word count for the day, and I also want to get the merino sock yarn spun up by year's end. I'm hoping to score some of the CVM dyed locks from Spunky Eclectic, that would be a new spinning experience, both in the fibre and the presentation.
