Fruit and greenery

Someone working for Skintimate failed their basic fruit recognition test.  Actually, quite a lot of people failed it.  Why?  Because they sent out the Passion fruit shave gel with a picture of kiwi fruit on it.  I'd post a picture, but it's not on their website.

Does anyone know the connection between American black raspberries and British blackberries?  They taste a lot alike but I don't think they're the same thing.  I'm not good with US plant life yet, beyond identifying cottonwood trees and roses, plus the dandelions and assorted green stuff pretending to be grass in my back yard.
