Happy thoughts

My cat comes and sits on the desk while I'm typing.  She bumps her head against me and sits on my lap.  Or on the keyboard, she's not picky.

Got weekend plans, girlfriend taking me shoe-shopping, yarn store trip, possibly some horticultural acts of destruction with the electric hedge trimmer.

Beef stew and dumplings for dinner tonight.  Real Atora suet dumplings, tons of vegetables and that wonderful taste of dumpling-infused stew.

New Patternworks catalog.

Monday afternoon off work, only slightly marred by mid-afternoon dental appointment.

Printing out my NaNoWriMo novel for a read-through.  First time I've been near it since November.
