I'm insane

Fifty thousand words in a month.  12,500 words a week or more.  I've signed up for NaNoWriMo 2004, National Novel Writing Month.  The novel idea has been around for a while in my head, but languishing and wordless.  I've got three weeks to work on an outline and a decent ending, and the writing starts on November 1st.  I know I can write a thousand words fairly easily, I just have to do that fifty times in thirty days, right?  1667 words a day would do it.

The Viking Squirrel icon was my favourite.  It seemed to fit.  Hubby's going to make me a percentage complete progress bar put on the sidebar.  I dare you to write a novel in a month with me, go sign up!
