Loopy Ewe Sock Club #1

The first package for the Loopy Ewe Sock Club arrived on Tuesday.

It was nicely put together in a zipped plastic Loopy Ewe Sock Club bag.  The yarn feels soft, slippery, and it looks shiny.  The colours are great, but my skein has a knot join in it.  Hopefully it won't end up in a bad spot.

I finished strip five of the leftovers blanket last night (only one more to go) and went stash-diving.  Found the perfect yarn for the Forest Canopy shawl, a skein of KnitPicks merino from Rox that I dyed with Kool-Aid, which came out coral pink, orange, yellow, and white.  Started Cookie A's Monkey pattern this week in Panda Cotton, with a green picot hemmed top and toes, and strawberry limeade for the rest.
