One handed

One pirate mitten down, one to go.  I've been struggling for a week trying to figure out a good way to hold the yarn and it just clicked on Saturday.  I tried a yarn guide but it wasn't helping much.  The mitten isn't perfect, there are a lot of uneven spots and the thumb wasn't great, but it's colourwork, I completed a two-colour knitted object!

Picked up yarn for the Anemoi mittens at the Myer's House sale on Sunday afternoon, cream and variegated burgundy, can't wait to start them!  I like the thumb gore idea better than the thumb used on the pirate mittens.
