Paws and a new Coffee Site!
This blog is now a certified Coffee Site. :-)

Q. What are Coffee Sites?
A. Coffee Sites are independent sites I peruse while I drink my first cup of coffee. Next, I link to them on my blog and on this page so others can visit them too. It's my way of supporting the indie web.
I'd forgotten I'd submitted my blog as a potential coffee site a while back, this has made my morning! Thank you Kimberly! People have done some great Coffee Sites buttons, these two are my favourites.
It's a little hard to type with a cat on the keyboard. My suspicions are confirmed, Quantum's paws are warm enough to operate the touchpad on the laptop. You can get software to guard against cat data entry, it's called PawSense, from BitBoost Systems.
When cats walk or climb on your keyboard, they can enter random commands and data, damage your files, and even crash your computer. This can happen whether you are near the computer or have suddenly been called away from it.
PawSense is a software utility that helps protect your computer from cats. It quickly detects and blocks cat typing, and also helps train your cat to stay off the computer keyboard.
PawSense looks like a jolly useful bit of software. I don't have it, and I'm trying to get the cat to stay off the keyboard, but the laptop is nice and warm, and it's where my attention is focussed. An irresistible combination for a cat.
