Things to watch out for in 2007 (part 3)

Competitors have to complete two lengths of a 60 yard trench cut through the peat bog in the quickest time possible, wearing snorkels and flippers (wet suits optional but advisable) but without using any conventional swimming strokes.  In 2005 it was a cold, wet day, but the 2006 event saw a predominantly clear day and a fair bit of sunshine much more appealing (!!) for both competitors and spectators splashing about in, or being splashed by dirty, smelly mud from a trench in the middle of a mid Wales peat bog!

The 2007 event is scheduled to take place on Monday August 27th 2007.  You have to be a bit loopy to try this one.
